Dynomite sanding tool for softening the edges of freshly drilled holes in plastic models, this is definitely a must have for any model maker.

Due to the very soft stick, this thing bends very easily and therefore does not exert the slightest pressure on the sanded surface, making the whole process completely inefficient. Cheap.

Durable and easily sandable surface. I was hoping they were about a quarter smaller than they are. I was looking for something to sand down the "support tips" of the 28mm resin miniatures. Will find plenty of use!

I'm not going to knock them out too hard. They are durable and the grinding attachments can withstand the strain. I bought them to sand down wood burning mistakes. The sharpening rods leave gray stains on the wood when I try to erase the imperfections. Then the tree is painted, which does not help.

I was expecting something smaller that I would use to get into tighter areas but they are about the size of an eraser which limits their usefulness. Although there are different grits, they are all the same color and have no markings to indicate different grits, so there is some guesswork.

The tips of all these tips are made of very hard plastic and have a coating to match the grit of the sandpaper. I tried using them on a small area of a flat piece of wood and all they did was scratch it no matter what the sand was. I think they'll work in hard-to-reach places, but that's about all I can use them for.

It's rock hard, don't give up. So most of the time you can only use a small edge at the bump or tip. If you have the space, you can set the whole thin layer aside and get a slightly more sanded finish. Cannot hit edges or corners. I think they work well for sanding holes or rounded inside edges. It's also poorly labeled which grain is which. I ordered the sharpening rods at the same time and am happy with them.
