I bought the one pound containers and liked them so much I decided to buy the two pound containers for the same reasons. Storage of ready meals and party leftovers. They can also be used to organize non-food items. Love these durable containers!

Complete rubbish. I completely dislike this brand of Scotty's deli containers. I ordered 16 oz and the lids were cracked. If the lids have cracked, then the lids have melted with air bubbles. Same thing happened with that shit. NEVER, EVER BUY.

Love it! I bought them because my family can't keep track of my beautiful Pyrex to save their lives. If you return the container, it can even be washed again in the dishwasher; and if they lose them, I won't get too upset about it. It's also a great size for preparing sauces for a large event.

Do I want to use glass containers every day for all the little things I need to put in the fridge? Of course, but sometimes you need to send leftovers home with someone or take something to a neighbor, and it is very convenient and useful in such situations! They fold easily and take up almost no space! Everyone should have something on hand. FYI: some will break. These are the same containers many restaurants use for take out soup orders. As for the product itself, it suits my needs (soup freezing). BUT - I was very disappointed that some of them had cracked at the bottom when the 24 pack arrived. I mean - severely torn, that is, completely broken at the bottom. Four stuck together and all four broke. Nobody bothered to check the quality of the containers before shipment. I am trying to contact the company to see if they can send replacements.
