I use it as a second drive on my laptop

It's a pretty slow SD card, but it could also be related to my SD card reader. However, I did not encounter any errors or file corruption, which for me is a first for >64GB SD cards.

Good customer service

does what it is supposed to. Mine broke pretty quickly but was replaced free of charge and I had no issues with the replacement so can't complain!

These SCT cards are fine!

I see so many bad reviews about this SD card! But I bought 13 of these cards and had no problems with mine! From 32GB to 128GB, mostly 128GB, I use them in my laptop, camcorders and DSLRs without the problems I read about here! I have 6 camcorders, 5 digital cameras and 2 laptops, all my SCT cards work fine! Several times I had to remove the card, then reinsert it and/or reformat it, but that's it! These cards are great SD cards and for the price you can't beat them! It's been three years since

Failed within a week.

I used this SD card to add extra storage to my MacBook Pro Retina. I'm glad I didn't combine them because I've been using it for less than a week and it could have crashed my entire system. All partitioning is gone and now I can't repartition the card at all. It worked for a few days, it was great. I was able to access my files quickly and without any problems. I'm just really disappointed that it fell apart so quickly.

Works reliably and does exactly what is expected.

It comes very close to the actual 128 GB (a small part of its raw capacity is lost through formatting the file system) and works reliably without much fuss. It's like having a 128GB Super Micro drive. Reading very large volumes (50GB or more) from time to time is very similar to reading SSDD. Large writes to it are noticeably slower than SSDD, but I prefer it for files that remain fairly static for ease of transport, so a single write time slower than SSDD isn't a huge issue for me. Disappointing: SD Cards

I was delighted to have so much storage in such an accessible tool. However, after about 2 months of use, the card stopped working. I've tried reformatting, reinstalling drivers, repartitioning and can't figure out how to get it to work. Some computers don't recognize it, while others say it has 524 KB of memory. The card doesn't seem stable, luckily I had a backup of my photos.

Great computers and accessories

Works great with my Sony Nex-6 since I bought it in March 2015. Paid $33.xx, so the price was really good at the time. Mainly used for still photography and also for recording 1080p 30fps video. I recently shot in 1080 60 with the same camera and encountered no problems. Of course, the Nex-6 does not support 4k.

Lasted 5 years with little use then format errors

It was good while it lasted. And that was enough for 5 years of use of my Panasonic GM-1. More recently, it has thrown format errors and memory errors. Although it failed I was able to remove all my images from the card and for that I am giving 3 stars.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Almost never
