Description of Sculpey Premo Clay White Translucent

Soft enough to blend easily but firm enough to hold fine detail. The best choice for professional techniques: caning, mokume gane and mica shift due to its unique formulation and ease of achieving consistent results. Retains flexibility after baking so the finished product remains very strong and durable. Ideal for jewelry, home décor and functional items we use every day. Densely saturated, pure pigments and an artists’ color palette makes color mixing simple and true. Mix with other colors, powders or pigments for interesting colors and textural effects. Perfect for creating millefiore beads and canes, delicate scrapbook pages, faux semi-precious stones or glass adornments.

Great for Arts and Crafts!

This translucent clay is a must-have for any artist working in sculpture supplies. My analysis of this product showed that it is easy to use and the finished product is stunning when lit up. The color of the clay lends itself well to various projects and the results can be simply beautiful. The downside is that it can be a bit difficult to mold, but with a little patience and some water, it's easy to work with. Overall, I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a unique and creative…

Pros
  • Easy to shape and mold
Cons
  • May show imperfections in the final product due to its translucent nature

love this product!

I will be ordering this every time I need translucent clay, not the usual translucent clay that is commercially available. Great for my jewelry!

Pros
  • Ideal for making millefiore beads and canes, fine scrapbook pages, imitation semi-precious stones or glass jewellery.
Cons
  • Dear

The clay is very harsh, but fluoresces well!

I needed a clay that would fluoresce in black light and here it is! Sculpey glows in the dark and fluoresces green, while translucent white fluoresces blue. However, both clay bricks that I received were very dry, friable and very difficult to work with. .I had to buy a pasta machine to prepare the clay for this project as my hands were sore from the effort required to work with it. Not sure if it was the tone itself or the seller's stock was old.

Pros
  • Remains flexible after baking so the finished product remains very strong and durable. Ideal for decoration, home decor and functional items that we use every day.
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged
