I made the mistake of not reading them before buying. They are made out of a plastic rubber material so when you pull them out, they WAVE. They stay in place damn well unless you're jumping around a lot. But every time I put them on, I can't help but think of pain in the near future. Update: I had to throw this pack away. They always tear my hair and hurt so much every time you take them out. Staying in place during training wasn't worth it.

My wife uses the products - I only do reviews for her (LOL). She is very happy with them and is reluctant to give a full 5 star rating just because she hasn't used them long enough to appreciate their durability. They stretch enough and not too much, and their main advantage is that they hold the hair better than similar products with fabric padding. My girlfriend's friend got this for me on her bachelorette party. I didn't like this girl before but as soon as she proposed them they changed my life. I consider her a friend now. I can tie my hair in a ponytail, work out all day, sleep in it and the ponytail is still there. It's awesome and life changing. They eventually break, but you can use them daily for about three months before they tell you they've had enough. I recommend them to everyone I meet and have made new friends that way.

When new these hair ties are very strong, firm and will last all day at work. They provide excellent holding power to keep your hair up and out of your face. I have not found any other product that works as well. However, they don't last that long and will stretch until they are too weak to use. After using them for a week or two, they start to slip out of your hair and won't hold up, especially if they're snug against your head. I used to love them. One pack lasted me about a year. During operation, they stretched a little, but broke for a long time. They were seamless all around, giving them an edge over other tapes that are glued or stapled. However recently they have started to break after about 1 week of use. I need a new one every week. Then I tried it again with wet fringe hair and realized that I should use them like that because I don't want to wash my hair every day and use them every day. but as I said, certainly not for sensitive heads like mine and really only good for wet hair.
