When new these hair ties are very strong, firm and will last all day at work. They provide excellent holding power to keep your hair up and out of your face. I have not found any other product that works as well. However, they don't last that long and will stretch until they are too weak to use. After using them for a week or two, they start to slip out of your hair and won't hold up, especially if they're snug against your head. Every once in a while you get one that lasts a few weeks, but most are done within the second week of use, and sometimes even sooner.
