The bottom third of the height of these tiny boxes is wasted as it becomes the lid for the one stacked underneath. The interior is only 2/3 of the box height. When folded, the individual covers are not used except for the top one. They are too small for what I intended to use them for.

I used these boxes to make mini stamping points for card making. Glue a felt square to the top of the box and color the felt. It closes with a box bottom to keep the ink from drying out. It was better to put the felt in the top, because the edges of the top don't protrude beyond the felt and don't interfere with the stamping. The boxes are only about 1 inch square, but they were big enough for the purpose.

I bought the first set of 12 thinking I'd never use them all but I bought another set of 12. I say it, but I'll be there soon, I'm already thinking about the 3rd movement. I've used them to place rings, necklaces, earrings, pendants, stuff on my computer desk, etc. They fold easily and open/close securely. It's expensive but worth it because it's well made.
