Just don't turn too fast or the beads will fly apart. Go at a medium pace, you don't need to use a curved needle, a regular fine beading needle works very well as long as you hold it at a right angle. This has already saved me so much time. I am very satisfied with the quality/price of this product.

Just to let someone who doesn't know if your spinner doesn't spin continuously when spinning the metal part, you must maybe do pull the metal bar to slide the shell out of the wooden base. I didn't know the metal rod lengthened until I started playing with it. I was about to send it back thinking the spinner didn't work. It actually works great once you understand how to use it properly. Very satisfied!

Overall this is a great item, due to the extra work to clean the item and the rust work on the inside of the female cylinder component is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. .
