Although the keyboard has a nice feel/texture as typing and the keyboard backlight shows through, the color is not very pigmented. For example, jt looks like colored gift bag paper is over the keyboard. That’s how light the color is. Part of the reason people like keyboard covers is to give a personal touch to their macbooks. It makes it seem very cheap.Also, 3 of the keys are wrong and displays the wrong icon. Sort of disappointed in purchase.

I really like this cover! The texture is rubber, so it does take getting use to typing. The cover doesn't move around at al. I will say the light underneath from the keys don't shine through very well, which I don't consider a deal breaker. I would say the only complaint is how the product came, it already had grey smudges that won't come off and considering this is completely white, it's noticeable. Overall, I would order another cover in a different color.

I got a new MacBook Air recently and it's resulted in me being overly obsessed with trying to keep it perfect- from cleaning the fingerprints off the screen as well as using a compressed air can to dust the keyboard. This keyboard cover is a perfect solution for the latter part as it's super cute AND it protects it from crumbs, etc. (BTW, if you're debating on what color to get as to what would look best with the gold Mac color option, I got the gradient pink and it's amazing!)

Once I put this patriotic case on my MacBook, I felt a sudden breeze of a bald eagle flying by me, the bald eagle then turned around and spoke to me in the voice of George Washington, "this case will grant you the ability to be as free as a soaring eagle that flys atop Mount Rushmore, and nests in the golden hills of California." At that moment I knew that this was the greatest case ever made.

I was really excited about this keyboard cover. For the first month or so, it fit really well, the keyboard light was visible through the cover, and the letters/numbers/symbols lined up well. However, I washed it with warm water and dish soap, and laid it to dry. When I put it back on my keyboard, the portion on the spacebar has stretched out and bubbled. Since then, I have only used disinfectant wipes on it. The spacebar portion continues to get stretched out and slip around.

I know this isn't the most expensive thing to buy on here, but this keyboard cover wore out in just under a month of use. some of the black coloring wore off (on my fingers, mind you) so now it's just clear silicone and I can see the key underneath. There's also a small hole in one of the letters. This wore out so quickly. If I could return this, I would.

For the price its a great cover, however, you can't really see the backlights coming through, and the part covering the spacebar tends to arch up in the middle leaving a gap.

I bought the color gold - I've only had it for about a week and the color is already smudging away on my higher trafficked keys on the keyboard. It's pretty okay otherwise, doesn't stick super well or line up perfectly but it does the job. I wish it would retain its color, though.

I was hesitant to get this because of all the reviews but its very great quality and worth the money I got it in June and works fine still!

It was ok at first but then I kept seeing black on my finger tips so the black paint/dye was rubbing off and getting on my fingers. Just get a clear one

I tried several before this one. Silicon ones feel sticky and they block the backlight.If you like your keyboard's original feel, look and backlight, and only want the cover for protection, you can buy this one.

First photo is with it on and second shows the difference in the keyboard. Other than that I think it’s really pretty and it looks like the original keyboard.
