Big bottle and highly recommended.

This liquid is clear and to my knowledge must be used when using reverse osmosis water in an aquarium. I use half purified tap water and half reverse osmosis water as my water has very high PH and GH levels.

  • Easy Installation

Total Hardness of Reverse Osmosis Water

I am using this to set up a GH for reverse osmosis water. Cichlids need harder water, so 2 teaspoons per 5 gallon bucket seems to help. I use it with 1/4 teaspoon SeaChem Fresh Trace and 1 teaspoon Malawi/Victoria PH buffer. ideal water.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great RO Water Mineral

Great product I use 2.5ml per 5 gallons of RO water along with 2.5ml Seachem Stability, 10 drops Seachem Prime and 10 drops Vitachem. Then I put 67ppm water changes in the jars, which is perfect for bettas. I also add 2 ounces. Almond leaf extract is still only 67ppm after 7 days without water changes.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • So far so good

Works great but not for plants

I had these tiny floating lily petals that looked like plants. Almost all died within 24 hours, more than 200 of them. The rest of the water is clear. Due to this year's flooding in the Northeast, we're using RO for everything. I kept changing the tap water only to find that the new water was degrading the tank. I was afraid to drink it afterwards.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Has problems

Excellent product for fish and aquatic animals

I have been using this product for several years and I am very satisfied. In my area, tap water is considered "very soft" with almost no Gh or Kh. It's almost like RO/DI water. I learned this the hard way when one of my Ph tanks crashed and almost killed my fish. I use this product for Gh & Seachem Gold Buffer for Kh and everything is great.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons

This brings the reverse osmosis water to the desired dH value.

This product will bring reverse osmosis water to any desired dH level. Tip: Do not remove the foil under the cap! Instead, grab a needle or X-Acto Blade and just poke a tiny slit in it. So you can dose one drop at a time. This is very effective stuff. You should measure the dH of a gallon of your soft water, then just add a drop of this stuff, stir and measure again. This way you will see how powerful it is. In a small aquarium, you may only need to use one drop with each water change.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some cons
