Overpriced and poorly described.

Overpriced and poorly described. For this I wanted one with a 1/2 screw, not a 1/2 inch gap. If there is a standard method for sizing, it is not obvious. It was a complete scam, IMHO.

Toy shackles match shackles

The product description was for a 1/2 inch stainless steel shackle with a working load of 6,100 lbs and a breaking strength of 24,700 lbs. What I got was a pair of small toy restraints about a dime wide. They look like very cute little toy shackles but that's not what I ordered or paid for.

Do not buy 1/2 " for sailing

I should have read the reviews before buying the 1/2" as they are not at all what they say they are, more like a toy, as someone said - something else. I order two 1/2 inch suspenders and end up with 2 packs of 5 toy suspenders each. I bought the 1/4 inch models which are very accurate and need a bit more so I went the next size up, 1/2 bigger. The quality is in the product, but not in who ships it or publishes information about it.
