I bought two of these fans, the first was quite noisy but cheap and moved air. I bought a second one because the first one was ok for the price, but this one is terribly loud. In the future I will spend more money for a better product.

Terrible product. About 1 year old and it's very noisy and it doesn't move anymore it just clicks. It was installed by We used the camper maybe 10 times and that's it. And Revain SHOULD start posting warranty information in the mail instead of asking.

Very good fan for the price, but broke after 9 months. I emailed Seachoice and they offered to send me a replacement. Sometimes it's not the product that counts, it's the customer service. Seachoice passes it with flying colours. Thanks Seachoice,

First we install the 2 fans we bought and we find that they are very loud like we need earplugs. And less than 2 weeks after installation they got louder and finally stopped working. Completely destroyed inside. Super cheap fans. Not even worth the price I paid.

Works. The rear of the fan housing (cage) is open. When changing the position of the fan, my wife stuck her finger in the back of the cage. We thought she was going to lose a nail instead an ugly cut and bruise. The fan blade has broken off. The fan went in the trash. This was the second day after installation.

The fan was cheap and looks and works well - not too loud. The problem is that the first time I flipped the switch, it broke. It's stuck - not the end of the world since I can work through the switch, but a bit of a shame. Didn't bother asking about customer service so I'm not sure what they want to do. I honestly don't want to complicate reinstalling the fan with my crimped connectors.

I don't know if this is a serious design flaw or a manufacturing issue. I saw another reviewer had the exact same issue. Once installed, the fan blows quite loudly and appears to be moving fairly quickly. HOWEVER, air movement is reversed so you have to sit behind the fan to feel anything, and a motor reduces airflow significantly. If you want a fan to move air instead of blowing directly at you and making it louder than your diesel engine then this is the one for you!

This was a direct replacement for the fan that has been on my boats since 1990 at a very reasonable price. You look the same. I had some cold solder on the switch which I easily fixed. Given the price of offshore fans that match this unit and are a direct replacement, I could buy 5 replacement units over the next 15 years and still break even.

We had to replace the unit on our sailboat shortly after moving on board. We bought a new one along with two more for the other cabins. They looked great, but there were a few issues right after closing the returns window. One fan had connection issues that were device internal (i.e. no wiring to boot). We replaced that block, only for one of the other blocks to start squeaking like crazy. I refuse to buy more of these unless they last more than a few months. To break it down, in the 6 months…
