Failed after a month, short circuit in the pressure switch

The product worked well until the pressure switch closed after ONE MONTH. A week had passed since the end of Revane's return period. I spent the extra money to buy this pump instead of the Shurflo in hopes of better performance. I'm trying to exchange ideas, but we'll see. If they have good customer service I will try another pump but if not I will go back to the Shurflo brand. To update; After some communication with the company they sent me a new pressure switch. a lot of seam in the switch…

Fails in less than 24 hours

UPDATE April 14, 2018 Well less than 24 hours after I installed this pump it broke down. Despite the fact that he had electricity, he did not turn on. Looks like the pressure switch has developed a personality disorder. Also, water was dripping from the pressure switch. It's time to give it back on credit and find another suitable RV water pump. I think all the one star ratings this pump has received are valid. When it really worked I liked it. But it's an anchor when it doesn't turn on. Grrrr…

Two is too many. for fresh water systems

I have had two of these pumps. I live in my van all the time and walk 98% of the time. I DO NOT recommend this product or SELLER ALTAMARINE. Here is the short version. Bought this pump in July '14. Just installed in September. For 2.5 months I was very satisfied with the performance of the pumps. After about 10 weeks it started to run poorly, gradually reducing power over several days and the engine ran continuously and would not turn on or off. The pump worked until it stopped or probably…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Some problems

I am using this in a stand alone fountain. For me, that's pump number 2. The first takes over both jobs for me, takes water from the well and puts the apartment under pressure. I now use the new one to suck from the new backup tank so the pump doesn't have to work as hard. My original still draws water from the well and flows freely into the reserve tank. I'm using a washing machine's atmospheric switch to control an old well-side pump. With the new pump, I immediately bypassed the pressure…

The Energizer House

Call me crazy but I did it. I installed an emergency water system in my house. This system is only for people who have more than one water source. So many options for Seaflo pumps. I made the best choice with 5.5 gallons and 60 psi. I have plumbing for the kitchen sink, toilet and washing machine. No more 5 gallon buckets to carry up the stairs from my pond to flush a smelly toilet during a power outage. Despite all the negative reviews, I bought this pump because my friend lives offline and…
