This bed is not as strong as I had hoped. Even after several days of "expansion", the foam channels still have a gap between them so that the paw can slip between them. It still offers good support when you lie down, but I'm concerned it will be difficult for my less-stable old man to step on.

So my fault if I had read the reviews I would have known there were 5 chambers inside. THIS MAKES THE BED CLUB! I've had a bed for a little over 2 weeks, my dog has been in it for less than 30 seconds; she hates it I thought it would help her arthritis but the bumps prevent my older one from walking around before she sits down. I would send it back but of course in a package I will never get it again as it is bloated. What a waste of money! I will take it to the shelter with the next donation.

The box was quite heavy when initially received. I was excited because my dog is no small thing and he tends to throw out most of the dog beds we get in a week or so. When I received this box and took the bed out of the packaging, like most memory foam items, it began to inflate. We gave it a total of about 30 hours before letting my dog lie on it.
