falling apart! Best in exhaust and emissions

Body is glued rather than glued. Mine worked great for about 2 months, after that the noise got louder again. I checked the unit and the front was just hanging out there. I will buy a GENUINE replacement elsewhere.

Pros
  • Superior design
Cons
  • Older model

2004 Passat GL 1.8T *Fits*

A little nervous about the really low price (VW is charging $250 for OEM!) but it ran great and works great without the CEL. high! We strongly recommend purchasing new mounts which are recommended. This thing takes a good pull, small hands and some prayer to get in/out. I had to break the old brackets due to rust when removing them, so I'm very glad I bought the new brackets! Great deal for $!

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

Ineffective for 2004 VW 1.8T

This pump was purchased to clear CEL code P0411 but this pump was either faulty or just not producing enough PSI for a 2004 VW 1.8T engine - my P0411 code is pending and I can't pass CA SMOG. I took my 2004 VW Passat Wagon 1.8T for diagnostics after installing a new pump and the diagnostics showed that the pump was still causing the problem - this pump is coming back and I found an OEM pump locally for it $50 to be installed in its place.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are new competitors
