They were good for what I did to them. Simply squeeze out excess air (neatly above the sink), push in the lid until it clicks, turn it upside down, squeeze gently to check for leaks, and hope the cruise line doesn't dig into your bag . What they want for a drink package and a tip is just bulging.

We used them to take our alcohol on a cruise. I packed a medium bag and two small bags in my clothes in the suitcase. My husband put a large bag and another medium bag between the clothes. My alcohol survived, but he didn't.
