    Doesn't always turn off

    I bought this kettle in June. It started out as a fairly fast and fairly quiet kettle. However, after 5 months, the kettle is not so quiet, maybe not so fast, and now it doesn't always go off. Not always, but sometimes it doesn't turn off automatically. The handle gets incredibly hot and you can't touch it. I'm afraid to leave 5 months after purchase, you need to buy a new kettle.

    Perfect size and plastic free

    The kitchen worktop is already full and we wanted something compact and as we will be using it every day we wanted it to be plastic free. We were also unsure about glass teapots. . The Secura 1 liter kettle meets our criteria perfectly, we use it extensively (at least 3 times a day for the last 3 weeks) and so far we love it. Since the advertised hot water does not come into contact with plastic, the build quality is excellent, not cheap by any means.

    Safety hazard: Doesn't stop when water is boiling

    I've been using this kettle for a few days and it was fine initially, but after 3 days the auto shut off function stopped working several times. The kettle can constantly boil and get very hot. In this case it must be stopped manually. With this problem, I'm afraid it might melt or burn, so I don't recommend it. Another problem is that at maximum filling (1L) water can squirt out when pouring, which can be dangerous with hot water.

    ALUMINUM LID PANEL - NOT STAINLESS STEEL

    We've had the large size for about 3 years now and love it! It has stainless steel trim on the inside of the lid, so I expected the same from this one. But don't be fooled like me. The inside of the lid of this kettle is made of ALUMINUM, while only the inside of the container is made of stainless steel.     This electric water heater is NOT fast - I timed it.

    Just bought this kettle. Appearance is fine. He feels strong. I like that the lid stays open which makes drying easier. But this thing does NOT cook fast. In fact, it took me so long to finally make it. And I was surprised. It took 6 minutes and 22 seconds to boil (before the steam came out) and 6:40 to shut off because it was boiling really hard.     November 2021 Update: Still working, does exactly what I need, no major issues or issues. Even more annoying that there's no sound to let you know when it's simmering; It doesn't really turn off until it boils for too long (15-30 seconds) so I just take it off when I hear it cooking.     Great for water. Be careful when cleaning with vinegar.

    Update five months later: Kettle still boils well but one star deducted because the kettle is now leaking. The interior is still intact; I think when I pour the water out there has to be a spot where the spout meets the body of the kettle where the water collects and then flows out the bottom of the body. The spout is part of the outer wall and the filter/hole section is part of the inner wall, so the seal between them must be broken or open. I have to use a limited power kettle but not sure if
