Nice straps! Great price!

Just got back from a 400 mile road trip. I used these 4 straps to tie down my Roof / Cargo bag on the top of my Toyota Highlander. Worked like a charm! The straps are made well and strong. They are 12 feet so they're plenty long. The metal "buckle" on the end is also well made and *solid*. Be careful when swinging them around because they are like having a heavy rock on the end of a string when you're carrying these around. The buckle works great, but take your time initially threading…

Pros
  • These straps work great for quick loads.
Cons
  • May not be durable for frequent use

Held packing tubs in place

We hauled a huge trailer filled with plastic tubs for 900 miles. We went over mountain passes and down steep inclines. These straps held heavy tubs securely in place.

Pros
  • The 600Lbs Capacity of these straps makes them perfect for securing a wide range of cargo, from furniture and appliances to heavy machinery and equipment
Cons
  • May be difficult to find replacements

This tool is less than it should be!

I purchase 6 of these, have tried to use 2 of them. Cannot open the metal area to receive the stap. I have used many of these forms of straps from REI & Harbor Freight. This one is not to my liking at all. I am thinking of returning them.Bill Bunch

Pros
  • dependable construction
Cons
  • May not be suitable for outdoor use

Good for holding things down

Works as intended. Great for holding things down with out fear of over tightening. Since it doesn’t have a rubber foot under the metal but I wouldn’t use it if you care about the finish of something as it could damage it. I use it to tie down my off-road equipment on molle panels.

Pros
  • Por ahora no e tenido problemas.
Cons
  • May not be strong enough for large and heavy loads

Liked it for the most part

I bought two sets of these and was satisfied with what I got for the price I paid. Haven't used them much but believe they will handle the job

Pros
  • Held bed on pick up
Cons
  • Straps may slip on smooth surfaces

Corrosion? best in my review

Primarily used for my kayak which is always used in salt water. Will have to wait to determine how resistant the metal bracket is to corrosion.

Pros
  • Straps look of good quality and seem like they hold what your strapping down well.
Cons
  • May be difficult to release after use

I am particularly fond of these.

I originally got these to use on the road with my Harley FXDC and they did not disappoint. Riding down the freeway at 80 mph. i mean 65 mph with all my stuff strapped to the back was no problem. I even traveled on some very bumpy back dirt roads and these straps held on like a champ. I keep a couple on my bike, a couple in my truck, and a couple in my jeep. $13 for 6; you can't go wrong. Sturdy, easy to use, and easy to store.

Pros
  • Easy to use and it looks good too. So far it lasted longer than my old cheap one.
Cons
  • May not withstand extreme weather conditions
