🔒 Enhanced Security Solution: Adjustable Indoor/Outdoor Metal Wall Mount for Arlo/Ring/eufyCam/Wyze Cam (3 Pack, Black) Review

I've had it for 4 months now and wouldn't recommend it. I mounted one of my Arlo Pro 2 cameras outside over my garage door using one of these adjustable wall mounts. At first it held its position, but each time I had to change the battery it became increasingly difficult to keep the camera at the desired angle. Now he will do nothing but stay in an undesirable position or stay completely relaxed.

Two out of 3 mounts work fine. Seems strong enough to support the weight of the camera. The problem is that one of the mounts doesn't want to stay where you set it. When I tighten the locking part of the ball joint, something gets stuck there and causes the entire ball joint to move so it's no longer pointing where I want it to be. They offer more flexibility in camera placement than standard mounts - they are longer so the camera protrudes further from the house wall. These mounts are strong enough to hold your camera securely at the desired angle. I was a little worried about the low price but after receiving and installing them they turned out to work very well and look great. Some customers have mentioned black paint peeling off during installation, but I haven't noticed. The paint on the mounts reminded me of powder paint and had a slight texture. While the mount was cheap and fairly easy to install, when I was going to move two of them about five or six months later, one of the mounts broke and I noticed some rust. on the thread for another. The price is good but one is cracked and the other a bit rusty after only 6 months. I think if installed under an eaves or somewhere more weather proof they might be a good buy but I don't think they are for all weather or very safe! The plastic washer that's supposed to press against the camera actually had its threads stripped when I took them out of the sealed plastic packaging they came in. put a metal ball on top to fix the position, they couldn't check the gap during production, which means you can rotate fully, but the ball and threaded rod entering the chamber just rotate freely. Don't skimp on this generic brand. There is a small but significant difference between these mounts and Arlo brand mounts. First, it's a general quality. Editing errors are common with these fakes and can lead to frustrations during installation.
