Security SERMICLE Bracket Outdoor Rotation Review

These brackets are perfect. Very well made, very durable material. I'm a bit shocked at how good they are for the price. Recently cleaned out a large area of my basement to finally set up a proper VR zone. Used them to place the sensors on the ceiling. You now have an approximately 10' x 20' virtual space playground in the Rift. It REALLY opens up the possibilities for VR gaming and increases immersion if you're not limited to a small box. 5/5 recommend them to everyone.

Great product although with hindsight I wish I had ordered a longer bracket. This one fits the wall snugly, but that's not the product's fault, I only got the VR sensor at a 45 degree angle. The dowels and screws supplied are absolute rubbish and of the 9 screws supplied, only 3 actually had a screwdriver groove, the rest were empty. 4 stars for the actual product, although I would buy them again. I would have given 5 stars if they hadn't made the cheapest part they include cheaper.

For maximum tracking I wanted the rear sensor to face down and I didn't want to reinstall it or get multiple holes etc and it seemed perfect. A few screws to mount it in the back of our "room" and it's easy to adjust in time for VR installation with a ball joint and then just hand tighten with a thumbscrew to lock it in place. It did a great job and the white metal bracket has a professional, understated look that maintains a clean and uncluttered look that doesn't make the mechanism stand out.

I think it's my fault for not checking the quality of the product from the beginning. I spent over an hour getting everything set up just the way I wanted it. Installation was easy enough I think. Then when I install the Vive Beacon Base Stations on each of them, none of them can be tightened enough! Both hang in the desired position after I let go. no space for tripods. The mounting hardware is rubbish and I would recommend buying various screws and/or drywall anchors, but the fasteners themselves more than make up for it.
