Outstanding quality and performance

I have combined this with Seagate 3TB 5400RPM and Hitachi 1TB 7200RPM (both external). The average transfer speed was around 100 MB/s. It supports UASP, which benefits external SSDs. It includes both a low profile mount and a standard profile mount (which wasn't listed so I'm grateful for that). The driver installation was problem-free in WIN7 64 bit. Overall great quality if you don't want to upgrade your motherboard to have USB 3.0 support. Definitely recommend. -1 star for lack of…

USB 3.0 PCIe expansion card

I am using it to control a USB keyboard for music production. Be sure to use the power connector as the instructions that come with the device are not clear. The cable that came with the card could not be used because it had the wrong type of connector on one end. I had to make a power connection.

  • Done

  • Some issues

Inexpensive, useful adapter

An old PC was upgraded with this card. I now have the best USB speed when transferring data to USB sticks. Ease of installation. A note: make sure your computer has an open SATA power connector. I needed a Y connector for my old PC because it didn't have an extra STAT power connector.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Damaged

The best I've used for Windows 10

Over the years I've tried different brands and types of PCI-E USB 3.0 cards for various upgrades and I love this card. Some of the others require drivers to work or are not recognized by the operating system. It worked fine for me on both Windows and Linux. The transmission speed is on par. As I said, I bought several of these. I've never had a single failure. Used them in Dell, HP, Acer, Lenovo with no problems. It's one of those items that I keep on my personal wish list so I can easily find…
