Perfect for High-Speed Computers

This rack mount enclosure is a game-changer for hard drive accessories. As my tests showed, it provides lightning-fast data transfer speeds up to 10Gbps, making it ideal for high-speed computers. The build quality is fantastic - it feels sturdy and well-made. The only downside is that it can be a bit tricky to install, but once set up, it's smooth sailing. Overall, the Sedna Rack Mount 10Gbp Enclosure is a must-have for anyone looking to maximize their computer's performance.

Pros
  • High speed data transfer at 10Gbp
Cons
  • Requires a rack to mount, limiting its portability and flexibility

Works great if you have documents

I'm using this with 2 x 2TB SATA drives for a USB stick in RAID 1. I've been using it for about 1 year with no problems. My biggest complaint is that there was no documentation on how to set the DIP switches. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent it to me. They are: SW 1: Down SW 2: Down = PM/JBODSSW 1: dwon SW2: Up = RAID 0SW 1: Up SW 2: Down = RAID 1SW 1: Up SW 2: Up = SPAN

Pros
  • Supports 2 internal HDD/SSD
Cons
  • Not sure

At least it works. But that leaves me with three main complaints about this thing: 1) It doesn't seem to work with FreeNAS, even in PM/JBOD mode like I intended to use it. It sucks. The things I've read online suggest that this controller doesn't implement SCSI properly. 2) There is no documentation on how the RAID 1 rebuild process actually works or how to tell if one of the drives fails. I assume the controller is telling the OS this, but the OS hardly recognizes this as memory, so should I…

Pros
  • Easy mode setup with switch
Cons
  • Some cons
