🔍 Hepa Filter Replacement for Craftsman 9-17912 Wet/Dry Vacuum: High Efficiency & Long-lasting Review

This filter was used to prevent the formation of a fine cloud of soot when cleaning an oil boiler. No Clouds seems to work adequately. On the other hand, my hands were not well protected and ended up completely black with very small particles of soot.

I bought this filter to replace my handyman vacuum to filter out smaller particles. So far it has worked great and I haven't had any problems. The suction power of the vacuum cleaner matched the original filter and the seal held up well. I would buy this filter again if needed.

Speaking of a good filter, this thing even holds drywall dust. The original filter my vacuum came with couldn't do that. The original filter let the sheetrock dust escape and get on everything. I will only buy this filter in the future unless a better one comes out that can trap odors lol

This filter is perfect for my Craftsman Shop vacuum. No loss of power and does an excellent job of filtering what I suck out of my garage and car. The negative reviews make me just as skeptical as I was at first, but once I received and used the product I regret not having bought it sooner. Will definitely take it again when it's time to replace it.

They work well for dust collection. Not exactly HEPA, but still very good and way better than a standard filter. I had a little trouble keeping the filters in place when kicking the vacuum or throwing it up, but the Craftsman filters have the same problem, so it's the design of the vacuum, not the problem with this filter. This filter is absolutely in no way inferior to brand filters.

I bought this filter to take advantage of its improved particulate filtering ability. It was intended to be a direct replacement for my particular vacuum cleaner. I put it on, didn't use the vacuum for more than 3 minutes to suck up the sawdust, and ended up burning my motor. I think I'll stick with cheap paper filters in the future - the finer filtration capabilities of this filter were too much for my unit and now I'm looking for a new vacuum.

These filters of this brand are useless in my craft shop! I only bought three of these based on the good reviews but was totally disappointed when the filter fell off and turned my vacuum into a dust pump! I removed the cap from the vacuum cleaner and found that the threaded cap had fallen off along with the filter. It seems that the bootleg cap would no longer catch the threads, making the filter useless. Perhaps these filters could be used with a large washer and screw for the original filter
