I was looking for my first watch for a whole month, I wanted SARB033 but they were discontinued. But the SRPA27K1 doesn't disappoint and is a marvel for my first watch. A must for anyone who wants to go in for hours.

A real gem of a watch. I would call it more casual given its size. I have a 6.5 inch (170mm) wrist and this is the end of my range. A fairly nice finish with a smooth polished case and a simplified black dial with silver baton indices for easy reading. The staple leaves a lot to be desired, but for the price I really can't complain. Overall this is a great affordable option if you like the aesthetics of the iconic SARB033. I'd like a sapphire crystal, but again, it's great value for money.

The Seiko SRPA27K1 is an excellent automatic dress watch that can be used on many occasions. I'm surprised to find a 4R36 (hand-wound) in such an affordable Seiko. It has a beautiful inky black dial with beautiful silver hour markers in a classic design. For me, it's black oxford shoes with a watch cap, one of those things every man should have, a watch that can be used for formal serious occasions like a job interview, business meeting, funeral, etc. I would replace the straps with a ColaReb…
