I use it to make art videos for my students. I wish the phone mount was longer so I could use it more like a document camera over an artwork, but if I stack a few things and clamp them there I can get them to work - I just need to fix the issue and use leverage. If I only used it for selfies or videos of myself it would be very easy.

I've used this light both off my hands and on a desktop monitor. Both were light (they are light) and seemed to throw just the right amount of light on my head so my face didn't look washed out. I use a light ring on the middle one which seems perfect to me. The upper level is very bright. I love it so much that I ordered it as a gift.

This is actually a lot better than I expected. The clip barely fits my iPhone 8s with a case, so any wider phone with a case will likely need to be removed. However, it keeps my phone stable and doesn't sag or sag. The light is good enough for selfies, but I use it for projects so it's not bright enough for that. Although having multiple backlight color choices is really cool.

Strong clamp, and even with the phone connected it stayed clamped. The phone holder didn't work the way I wanted it to (my fault) but it also doesn't support the weight of my phone. I have an LG Stylo 6 (mid-range phablet, a bit heavy but also a cheap phone.
