Great for photography

I used it for long exposure photography. When you place this in front of the lens it works like a 10 stop light reduction. This colors the photo in a very strange way when using automatic settings, so I took a color profile with this glass with my Nikon D90 to get the right white balance settings. After creating an in-camera color profile for this lens, my long exposures were great!

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Ideal for photography

Does what it's supposed to. I got this so I can take long exposure photos and it actually wobbled from the rubber strap I used but there happen to be 2 pieces left that are large enough and that actually made it more compact in my camera bag, so it was nice of handy. I definitely recommend it to photographers. You'll get a green tint, but just fix the white balance or set it to black and white and you're good to go.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic controls

This is the perfect size to cover M43 lenses and fit snugly.

Although I don't use it for welding, it fits perfectly with the M43 lenses and with some tape fits snugly on my camera. However, with APC and FF lenses, this may be too small to adequately cover the lens aperture. It's also got that green hue you'd expect from using welding lens for long exposures, but Lightroom seems to be handling it well (hasn't put it under too extreme stress).

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I'll write back later
