Not bad for the price

The cable is listed as USB 3.1 but I've only been able to get it to work reliably with a 2.0 port. Other ports seemed to cause a lot of freezes. It's a bit finicky and sometimes needs to be unplugged/plugged back in to work properly. You'll probably have a better experience with a higher quality cable, but for the price I paid I'm happy with what I got. However, it would be nice if he charged up the quest while playing.

Buy only if you have the right software

Cannot be used. My son ordered hoping to connect to his computer so he can play Roblox on Oculus. However, along with this cable, you also need certain software on your PC to make it work. We didn't have that software, so the cable was useless. We returned it. Unfortunately, we did a lot of research, and nowhere did it say anything about the need for any specific software. It was a bummer for my son. Only buy if you know you have the right software.

Not bad, but not perfect.

Dough still dies when you plug it into your computer to play on the Oculus. And to be honest, if I had to stand and move a bit, I would buy a longer cable if I bought it again. But it still works fine. Never had problems playing with connected network. The battery issue basically sucks if you connect to continue playing the game before the battery dies. To be honest I can only do VR for 45 minutes at a time so it wasn't a huge setback for me but I see it's a huge problem for others.
