I wish Sena would have just sold those damn 3 million clips.

Too bad Sena just didn't sell the goddamn 3m helmet cutouts. This did what was needed for my wife's second helmet, but now we have all sorts of extra parts that aren't needed. Next time I'll just grab some random footage from 3M and see what happens.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Bad impression

Great Sena moving package

I love my Sena. But when you install it in your helmet, you have to put some stickers that you can't remove and put back somewhere else. Now that I've switched to a new helmet, I've had to move Sena. This little kit contains all the supplies I needed for this move.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • Something different

The 20S was a great complement to my helmet

The 20S was a great complement to my helmet. It fits perfectly on my Nexx XD1. I can make calls at high speed without any problems. It connects to Bluetooth and plays music on the phone as expected and has the best speakers I've tried. Great solution to communicate with your motorcycle.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Nothing

Defective adhesive on the attachment part.

Fits perfectly on my new helmet -- After a day of drying the glue, I took it for a walk. It looks like the adhesive pad is already coming loose from the plastic part of the mounting piece it's attached to, which is a problem (sticks well to the helmet). I'll keep an eye on it, may not be a problem but I probably have a defective adhesive mount.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Thoughtless

Didn't work for me - seems to work for some.

Didn't work for me - I think at some point (since I bought mine!) Sena reworked the 20 mount a bit. The tab that secures the speaker port is completely different than mine, but the bigger issue is that the top connector tab that connects the adhesive mount to the actual device mount is also different - it has a higher profile and therefore holds up. 20 self from blocking to base. I tried getting the dremel to the tab to remove some of that extra height but to no avail.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Sena is the worst in helmet communications

Sena can make almost $30 for sticky pads and foam rubber. They sell their sets with inferior speakers, and then a few years later they release a new $80 HD speaker. They make lousy products, and since they don't have many competitors and a large share of the market is already taken, they'll rest on their laurels. I have never disliked any company as much as I have for Sena, I have already invested $380 in them, this was my last purchase of a Sena product. Cardo is way better damn it, a soda can

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Purchased to join 3 other riders on a week long trip. Well-written instructions, very good sound quality, iPhone pairing and language selection. The battery life is good enough to get you through a long day of driving without losing connection. Some very minor "clicks" on group connection, but not enough to be a problem. A small issue is the attachment (3M tape) to the side of my Shoei Hornet X2 helmet. The profile of the helmet is very rounded where the base of the Sena should fit. By the endโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Sad Pack
