Senco Fastening Systems Nailer 4H0101N Review

This replaces my 25 year old Senco frame nailer. The old one served me well (and still does), but I wanted a new gun. This gun is shorter than my old gun and works great driving nails between 16" center beams. I would recommend this frame gun to anyone who needs a good frame gun.

There is nothing wrong if you use the right nails and oil, it will last a long time to frame the new addition, it worked like a charm, I have a Hitachi and it is immediately much better weight and balance are perfect. The big stores don't have Senco nails so you have to buy them from your local nail and screw supplier, also the suppliers are cheaper than the big stores, $40 to $4000. Home Depot wants $119 for regular 20-22 degree frame nails, for under $150 you won't find a better nail gun.

Good nailer. I've driven nails at a maximum pressure of 90,100 and 120psi on a Hitachi EC12 supercharger with no problems. Beautiful and compact, the gun allows its user to get into hard-to-reach places that other installers can't reach. For example between bolts or blind nails blocking between joists. The depth of the drive is adjusted by a large aluminum dial located just above the gun. Under the pistol, just in front of the trigger, is the torch's fire button. You have to press the IN button
