Tried some others, they didn't care. The cable was too thin, too short, and difficult to lock and unlock. I think there is no point in spending a lot of money on a lock as a professional thief will take your electronics no matter what type of lock you have, this lock works great to deter the casual thief. The cable is longer and thicker than others I've tried, I would definitely recommend this cable lock.

Insanely simple and easy to install/use. Done in 30 seconds (mostly fiddling with the key). It is strong enough to avoid internal security problems.

Bought by price and description. The lock cylinder on the device I bought was not installed correctly and you could not lock it and remove the key. Apparently the locking mechanism was installed the wrong way around and there was no way to change it. The seller quickly refunded the money but never received any feedback about the returned device.

I was a little worried about the price (very low) so I was worried about the quality, but I was pleasantly surprised. , so don't let that bother you discourage you from considering this lock).

Cable connected to printer/fax in right rear corner, lock locked (very simple system). The office was broken into again and, although it took a little longer, he managed to escape with the printer. The locking mechanism is really broken. I like this idea.

This is a simple design and will work if the latch is properly aligned. However, it is very easy to set up the lock to only use the key for unlocking, which defeats the purpose. At first I thought there was a trick to the lock as it shifted or became like that after one use. I had to manually align the pieces to get the key/lock to do its job.
