Easy setup:

If you connect more than one light bulb, be sure to do one at a time. It took me ten minutes to connect both lamps to my wifi. I freaked out when the lightbulb says "unsecured network" in the first step but asks for the WiFi password at the end. The lamp color is warm white. Setting a schedule is easy, but the app doesn't give me the option to turn it on at sunset, so I'll have to wait for my future Alexa purchase. I contacted Sengled to ask about the sunset and received a response within a few

Doesn't work with Wi-Fi 6

After spending several hours trying to connect these lamps to Wi-Fi and Alexa, I called Sengled Technical Support. They asked me a series of questions about my problem and my wireless router. When he heard that I have a Wi-Fi 6 mesh router, he said that their Wi-Fi bulbs weren't working well with Wi-Fi 6 and that I should switch to the Bluetooth version of their bulbs. (He also said that other manufacturers' WiFi bulbs have the same problem.) So I'm sending them back and ordering the Bluetooth…

Pros
  • Remote Control: The Sengled Home app lets you turn Alexa-enabled smart bulbs on and off whether you're at home or away. With the group control function, you can control more than one smart LED bulb at the same time.
Cons
  • I don't remember

Gave up after many attempts to connect these lamps.

Okay, my apologies to any reviewers who actually had much experience pairing and tuning these tubes, but I have to believe that these many high ratings are a scam. I consider myself pretty tech savvy, but after an hour of not being able to get this lightbulb to connect to my network and then using Alexa to find it, I've given up and am sending it back. Here's what I expect from new smart bulbs (based on 1 in 2 smart bulbs bought): 1. Turn on and off something like 3 times until the light blinks

Pros
  • Schedule & Timer: Never go home to a dark house - use the lighting schedule in the Sengled Home app and you will be greeted with warm light. With the timer function, you can turn the Wi-Fi smart bulb on and off automatically.
Cons
  • flimsy
