It could be great.

Only bought to listen to music while running. They were great for that. They stayed on my head and the quality was okay for the price. I had no complaints, I could bet 5. But that's why you don't check the product on the day it appears! They lasted less than 40 applications. No sound comes through the right earphone. It wasn't a gradual relapse, I just quit one day. Tried to clean the pen but nothing. just died So less than 6 months and they are useless. To be honest I did not contact the…

Use for running

I used this for running. I like the sound quality. Better clarity and bass than other headphones I've used for running. They're comfortable and light and I love that I can hang them around my neck when I want to remove them from my ears. There's no setting to lengthen or shorten any part of the headband, so for me it just floats in the back of my mind, which is a bit odd. I mean, it's still comfortable to use, but I'd rather have something denser than not. Pushing it up or down so it touches…

  • Handy item

Big! - sound through the ear; not in the ear canal

I find it odd that no one else seems to comment on one feature that brings me back to these headphones - the earbuds are oriented to play sound through the eardrum rather than down the ear canal. This alignment is very difficult to find in headphones/earbuds. If you google "in-ear headphones" and "hearing loss" you'll find tons of articles that when using non-noise-cancelling earphones we tend to turn up the volume to hear, but a high volume aimed directly at the ear canal transmitted, can…

I run marathons and only use this brand

I have tried Jaybirds, Air Pods and many bluetooth and sports headphones. This is my seventh pair of Sennheiser headphones in this style. They change color every few years, but they're basically the same thing. They last anywhere from one to four years depending on how intensively I use them, as I typically wear them to the gym, hiking and kayaking, and gardening in addition to my runs. The only brand I will ever use for running clothes. No, the sound quality isn't as perfect as my $300…

Nice headphones, just beware the faint headphone jack

I really liked these headphones. They sound great and come in a form factor that's more on-ear than in-ear, which seems rare these days. When cycling it was great to let me hear something of what was around me. The only issue I have is that the headphone jack itself seems pretty flimsy. I learned this the hard way when, while admittedly not paying much attention to my surroundings, I got snagged on a piece of furniture in my apartment and yanked my headphones out of the phone jack, but not…

Pros
  • These headphones are safe for cyclists or outdoor runners as they come with passive noise isolation technology that allows you to call/enjoy music without being distracted by those around you
Cons
  • Upgrade option

Nice neckband in-ear headphones for Android or MP3 player

I use this Sennheiser PMX 684i neckband with an Android Phone, MP3 player Sansa and Revain fiery tablet. The design uses a wired connection with a standard 3.5mm audio jack. The earphones are connected by a neckband that prevents them from falling out of your ears when jogging or doing other active sports. In the ears, the headphones are slightly tilted, which allows me to hear the surroundings and listen to music. On my Android Samsung Galaxy S7, the built-in remote control has a microphone…

Pros
  • They are sweat and water resistant and have a smart remote control with microphone and volume control
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

While you can tolerate wired headphones, the obvious reason wired ones are better is that they always work because they don't require a battery. However, with the headphone jack on mobile devices becoming a thing of the past (which is why I still use my iPhone 6+), it's understandable that such wired headphones might not stand the test of time. With my tiny old iPod tucked in my shirt sleeve, it's especially easy for me to put up with the headphone cord during a workout. However, such wired…
