Works great with AT&T Prepaid Unlimited Plan

Setup was very easy knowing the correct APN was Broadband (thanks to a previous reviewer who convinced me to buy). We will be using this router to access the internet in our RV, possibly where cellular data reception is limited. Setup steps: insert the SIM card, connect the router to the PC, turn on the router, log in to the router via the web browser "192.168.2.1". Make sure the APN is changed from blank to broadband. It can take a few minutes to activate a sim through the Att website, but it…

Works with Mint Wireless, low cost maintenance

This product is used in an amateur radio project for a Dstar Remote Digital Radio Repeater. Performance is good and the device was easy to set up.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

WiFi stopped transmitting

WiFi stopped transmitting last night. Absolutely no support for Sierra links, either by the vendor or by Revain. These 5 star reviews and this article appear to be plagiarism. Definitely don't buy it. PS: I never got close to the stated speeds.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Mostly fine, but...

Ideal for Motorhome Online!

I bought this modem/router for my RV and it works exactly as I hoped it would! I inserted an AT&T SIM and changed the APN in the system settings that I configured over WiFi. Easy setup and works great! Much better speed and settings than the system that came preinstalled on my van and a lot cheaper!

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Some cons

The instructions are as simple as it gets, they don't touch anything about USB tty in the cellular area. The device works with AT&T in the US, but you have to literally look up the AP{N. Just use "BroadBband". As evidenced by AT&T's 6 hour tech support and various troubleshooting methods, they don't know how to set up anything other than a cell phone. Cannot be used with 3g and 4g although recording conforms to AT&T 3g and 4g specifications. The device looks well designed and well put together.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • I'll add later
