I liked these while they worked. However, less than a year later, they suddenly stopped working. I have other flameless timer hurricanes from other companies that have lasted many years and still work. I love the look of Luminara candles and have other Luminara candles that last a long time. I don't know what happened to them but I'm so disappointed in them. It's too expensive to have such a short life!

These really are Luminara candles! The Luminara logo and name is on the bottom of the candles, but they don't have the quality I learned from Luminara. And they are not in the Luminara Store. Both candles I bought less than 2 years ago are dead. Come on - what's up? If you want your flickering candles to last you know they won't, so don't buy them. More to the landfill! ! I have many Luminara candles that have worked well for many years.

I read the reviews but she still wanted them, we have some of this brand and they are 8/10 years old. We've had these for a week now, new batteries worked fine until they died. The smell of dead candles suggested melted electronics. Slime oozed out of the rim, leaving a stain on the fireplace where all the candles were burning that night. DO NOT BUY THESE. I have several Luminara wax candles and they are amazing. Extremely realistic appearance. I could have bought something similar but cheaper from other companies but trusted the Luminara brand. I have ordered two sets of 2 Luminara votives. One of the two boxes didn't have a remote, but that was fine as the other box did. I noticed straight away that they don't match the sets I bought from the Luminara dealer. These flickering candles are a little more expensive no matter who the manufacturer is, but when you add up the cost of regular candles and what you spend to replace them after they've been when they are used up, you get your money's worth.
