Set of 6 Wooden Egg Shakers - Musical Percussion Instruments with Natural Finish Review

My 16 month old loves to play with these, I've put them in a bowl in his play kitchen and he discovers them and shakes them gleefully. They are good quality and have a beautiful look to them as well.

These eggs are smooth, fit easily in your hand, and when shaken make lovely percussion beats - everything that I expected.

I bought these for a small group of elementary students. They work just as expected, and I love the natural wood. Thanks for attention.

While these are not as "crisp" sounding nor as lightweight as the egg shaped shakers made from plastic, these have a more subtle tone and volume. I really like the look and feel of the natural wood these are made from.

These music eggs look and feel very nice, but know the sound is muted. They are not as loud as the plastic shakers, so it just depends on what sound you’re looking for.

These wooden shakers are fabulous! The craftsmanship is exquisite, and the shaking sound is pleasant and soothing. These are the perfect addition to a music supply box I am gifting my children. I highly recommend them!

These eggs are easy for my 1 year old granddaughter to hold. They are smooth on the surface and seem to be very well made. They are a little quieter than expected, but nevertheless a lot of fun to play with.

I got these so the little ones in my family could make lots of noise and bug their parents. Not quite loud enough for that. Perhaps some bongos next!

I bought these for my 22 year old daughter. She used to play viola, but had an injury to her arm that she now has lost some nerve function. She loves music, and has a birthday coming up. These are perfect and very pretty too. I also got her a wooden Thai frog instrument, also on Walmart. I also plan to get a drum pad. These eggs are so pretty, and make such a pleasant sound. These are really well made, cute shakers. But the size is perfect for fitting in a baby/toddler's mouth, so just be sure to keep an eye on them while they're playing with these.

These are hollowed out eggs with a peg glued into the bottom so there are no concerns about them being stepped on and splitting in half. Very smooth surface, perfect weight and sound for my kids to play with while I play my guitar.

My one year old plays with these at story time and loves them so we needed some for home! They are perfect for her small hands and aren't too loud!

These are wood (not plastic--great for the environment), smooth, polished and attractive. They make a good rhythm egg sound. They are not super-loud, but loud enough for non-professional musical use. (They could be used professionally with a microphone.) I gave them as holiday gifts to my music students--very good value for money.

My 16-month old son is obsessed with trying to grab eggs out of the refrigerator so I decided to buy him these wood egg shakers and he loves them! He’s been playing with them for hours - he’s been shaking them, throwing them, biting them, placing them in an extra egg carton we had saved and just walking around with them. These eggs would be great for a play kitchen. Overall I’m so happy I bought these and I would purchase again.

Super fun tiny instrument! I tucked them in my little bag to bring to a small family gathering. When the holiday carols started, I passed out the eggs (recipients aged late teens to early 80s) & we all played along! Everyone was excited by the ease of their being part of the band, so to speak. Fun gift that easily fits in your pockets to carry to musical events!

The eggs are high quality. I looked at others that were plastic, but the reviews said people had problems with them falling apart at the seam. These are wooden and I don’t see where it would be possible for them to break. They are also a little quieter than the plastic version, which is a great when you have a 2 year old shaking them!
