We’ll see…: my feedback

The price is certainly right for these panels, but I haven’t actually used them yet. The working surface is very thin, as in I-can-see-the-shadow-of-my-hand-behind-it-when-I-hold-it-up-to-the-light thin. There is a slight "give” to the surface, as well. I do resin pours and encaustics, so I will do my next one with some trepidation. I’ll either be thrilled to have found such an affordable panel, or I’ll chalk it up to "you get what you pay for.”

Not great quality, won't buy again

Next time, I'm sticking with Blick Art's cradled wood panels-worth the price for better quality. All 8 panels from this seller needed MORE than a light sanding! One panel had a bubble/raised edge that my husband tried to repair with wood glue, but it buckled again so I threw it out, and a 2nd panel was so rough it would have taken more than 30 minutes to get it smooth-the wood just kept flaking off in slivers peeling deeper & deeper on the thin veneer. I should have returned but didn't have…

small wood panels for artwork

I used these to create valentines for my neighbors. I mod podged lace, hearts, valentine greetings to the wood. Panels may not hold up well with repeated use.

PERFECT! good for me

The blocks of wood that I received were excellent and they even smelled like fresh saw-wood, reminds me of my grandpa cutting wood 60 years ago. These are packed and with bubble wrap. I have 16 pieces of wood to make ideas on, I better get them done before the craft market opens.I do not see any flaws - if you are looking for great pieces of wood, check this dealer out.

Smooth surface make for easy transfer!

I bought these for a classroom project of transferring photos to the surface. What I liked is they are already very smooth for the transfer. I did not need to do any sanding on them. Huge time saver!

Not 12 x12 . They are smaller

I am upset because I bought these to place my 12 x12 paintings on .these were supposed to be 12x12 but they are much smaller than 12x12. Please measure your wood well in order to give a better description.Thanks

Cheap price=cheaper quality

These were the worst panels I’ve ever used for painting, the actual face of them is so thin youCan almost see through it, plus it’s pitted/scuffed/cracked on every single one I received. 0/10 would not recommend. Especially if you’re a professional artist
