Pacesetter Manifold: Exhaust and Emissions

Fits and works great. The only thing I didn't like was that the front oxygen sensor was so far from its original location that three feet of wire had to be spliced for it to work. This is on a 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sport.

IMO don't waste your money

HATE this exhaust manifold. Bought for my 1993 Jeep YJ 4.0l. It was a pain to install. Sounds good and that's the ONLY reason I haven't sent it back yet. It comes with those washers that need to be fitted with screws which I think are just plain dumb. Save your money and buy either a regular head, or a bank head, or a non-original one.

Goods for sale for Wranglers built after 1995. Since 4.0.

Bought for a 1995 wrangler yj with 4.0 that was rebuilt last year. Went to install and doesn't fit at all. Contact the seller never heard from them. We contacted the manufacturer and the numbers on the pipe do not match what was declared. As the item was purchased before I was ready to install it cannot be returned at this time.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Installation was easy and fairly straightforward. Since the stock headers were torn to the point where only a 1 inch wide strip of metal was keeping the exhaust from falling out from under my Jeep, it is now much quieter and has more power. LOLI would buy this product. Yet again. The only thing I would like to see is if they include a set of pace setter decals so I can put them on my jeep.

Pros
  • Gaskets Included
Cons
  • Thin

some lose, my gain.

These are $400 headlines that I bought for less than $200 because someone returned with cosmetic issues. They drove a '94 Wrangler, not a show car. I've given them twice and haven't encountered any issues other than deburring, which I would do anyway. I love this manufacturer and the idea they put into reimagining the riser. I didn't need the oxygen sensor harness, I rerouted the harness and moved the bracket. I wish the instructions for the 6 x 2 gathering point were a little clearer, but hey,

Pros
  • Excellent fit and easy installation with basic knowledge.

Don't waste money!

Completely unsuitable. Before installation, it was checked whether all parts are suitable for my application. After several attempts to contact "pacesetter" I finally contacted them and they acted like they didn't have a quality issue with their products and didn't seem to want to help fix the issue. I clicked and they sent me a new install kit but the new kit also failed and didn't fit the jeep. The muffler shop said they were so out of spec that the bullet ports might even seal, and the…
