Ideal for wooden terrace railings.

Very useful on wooden deck railings. They have small, tiny dots in the gripping surfaces that help the clips hook and stay in place. When attaching the clip, be careful not to push or pull it off the wooden slat as the small dots can scratch the paint. Just pull the clip and release.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Frequency

Pictures are deceiving

I looked at the photos and they showed her on the deck railing. I didn't see the last picture showing the size is just over a quarter. In no case do they reach for our railings. We were able to use them, but not as planned. They stay in place and are stretched enough for posts to be in our deck and not on the rails.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Bad for Fascia

Like most people who use a stapler, I thought it was my first time using clips in over 50 years. It was a bad idea. I couldn't get the rectangular type so I tried these. And after having to use a Phillips screwdriver to save my numbers and pry off the bezel, I think this will be the last resort for next year. They used to be fine, but it was like fighting a small animal. Rschunimagu

If you turn on a light, this is a MUST!

I just got new 2 inch boards for the facade with a new roof and didn't want to use staples, nails or screws to hang the lights this year so I tried these clips. They're tight but hold up well. Not sure I would try stretching them on a cold day but I keep them indoors or warm and they work great. I was also able to stretch them over a 2.5 inch stone wall. . For a standard 1 inch bezel this would be a no-brainer.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to
Cons
  • I'm silent

Worked well for our Christmas lights

We used these clips to secure the Christmas lights on our patio. The clamps were on a 5/4 deck plank that is part of the railing system. (A 5/4 deck is 1 inch thick.) The clamps held securely for about six weeks when we had the lights on. I could not mount the clamps on 2" nominal wood (1.5" thick). They may have stretched, but I didn't want to put too much strain on them (in the cold). Not a single clip broke and not a single clip lost its hold. I was pleased with the performance of these…

Pros
  • Always excited
Cons
  • Expensive Insurance
