Great thread for Arts and Crafts!

I was looking for a quality thread to use in my Arts and Crafts projects and I found this one. According to my experience, the thread is strong, durable and has a nice shine to it. The color range is great and it matches perfectly with various fabrics. However, the only downside is that it tended to fray a little bit while sewing, but not enough to be a deal breaker.

Pros
  • Strong, durable, nice shine, great color range
Cons
  • Slightly prone to fraying

Everything is OK.

I bought this thread for my sewing machine (Brother CS6000i). Everything is OK. The thread tends to twist on the first stitch, which can happen with cheaper thread. And trying to sew a buttonhole on a typewriter is a nightmare. Haven't tried this with my serger yet, but ended up changing it to one of my server thread cones so I can sew without sticking issues. That's fine for hand sewing, but for a machine I'd say reduce your waste and get a higher quality thread.

Pros
  • High-quality, tear-resistant, low-lint. Does not break on high speed machines.
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide

The thread stretched over it (from left to right) is this thread, the two threads (top and bottom) are the national mark (c&c). There is not much difference to sewing on a non-commercial machine. I have a sewing assistant for singers and it works. It doesn't fit the machine's spool pin, so I put mine in a jar with a lid, but they sell spool pins if you're interested. It looks fluffier than the…
