Heavier than some of the ones I've used. Both sides can be used. It's difficult to erase pencil marks when you want to change the design. But it's worth buying

I tried many woodcut print products with my students and they were all too difficult to cut. This material is soft and easy to use and I cannot recommend it more highly. It also produces very high quality prints. You can also use both sides because it's nice and thick.

The smooth surface and overall thickness consistency of these support pads make for good, strong impressions from corner to corner when using a full block for your design. These green and white blocks feel a bit more solid than the pink ones and I personally feel like this allows me to carve more detail into them.

I bought this linoleum on a whim; I usually use Speedball pink linoleum, but it was cheap and I was curious. I am really very impressed with this linoleum and it has become my favorite lately. It cuts very easily and delivers the same detail as the SB Speedy Carve. It's very good for beginners and great for those interested in making "stamps" instead of traditional block prints.
