They're definitely dimmer than the standard shades, but the overall design lets in unfiltered light from the side. If you are sensitive to light or looking for a remedy for migraines, a wrap style may be more effective. Great hinge design, good overall quality.

I really wasn't expecting much for the price, I just wanted a spare pair for the car. But these quickly became my favorites. even compared to my loved ones. They're very light so they don't mark the bridge of my nose and they're so dark that the midday sun doesn't bother me when I'm driving! I love her!

These glasses are awesome. They are very dark, I have very bad migraines and because of the light I usually wear sunglasses at home, they are so dark they really help. I've tried wearing them as everyday sunglasses but they take a little getting used to because they're so dark I can't ride in them.

These sunglasses are really very dark. When I put it on with my Julbo Spectron 4 sunglasses (with 95% light filtering), these sunglasses got even darker. I expect it to offer more protection on a bright day to reduce a migraine trigger. However, I wish these sunglasses were designed a little differently and their frames were more curved to wrap around my face so less light enters from the side.

Sunglasses in stores where I live aren't dark enough, you still have to squint in them, but not with these. They are great even for my wide face and they are very dark. They look like Ray Ban Wayfarer and I think they're better than those Shadow Rays I bought for $50. I returned them, not dark enough, felt cheap and didn't suit my face. For €10 I'm happy with it. These sunglasses help me when driving or cycling in sunny weather. My eyes are very sensitive to light and I keep blinking when I'm in the sun, even with regular sunglasses. They are really DARK and protect my eyes very well on sunny days. They're a lot darker than the ones you'll find on store shelves and at a pretty good price too. (I ordered 3 different pairs hoping to get one that would work - one of the others was too light and the other so dark you couldn't see walking).

I was looking for very dark lenses that would help me deal with frequent migraines. Unfortunately, these glasses weren't for me. First off, the "super dark" lenses aren't really that much darker than some cheap sunglasses I already own, which was disappointing.
