🌊 Enhance Your Marine Communications with the Shakespeare 5250 36" Skinny Mini Marine Antenna Review

This is my second boat but works very well on my 17ft Sundance skiff. I am definitely very tech savvy and would most likely be perfect for the average boater.

I like the all stainless base. This is a replacement for a 36 inch stainless steel and plastic half base Shakespeare antenna that broke for unknown reasons. Of course nothing lasts forever, the old antenna was 10 years old.

Didn't get a chance to pull the boat out to see how it came out. A bit of concern is that the antenna is quite weak, especially in rough water. It would be nice if it was a little harder.

This antenna worked great until after a month of use, mounted on the rear bow of my motorboat, the top broke off the black plastic base. The black plastic appears to be cracked and the rest is in the sea. Nothing hurt, apparently defective

the antenna came unassembled, you need to connect the cable to the connector, this is not an easy task for those looking for an antenna to assemble there was nothing, which makes you think that what you are paying for is quite expensive for something that needs assembly, it was known that you should collect it. I ordered this to replace a very old similar sized VHF antenna on my boat. This antenna works very well and looks very attractive (because the antenna has to look good too). I mounted mine on a 12" Shakespeare extension mast which increased the height of the mast considerably on my small boat. Excellent antenna.

Antenna worked well but only for half a year. Very disappointed as the installation is quite complicated. Absolutely annoying! Shakespeare does not answer calls regarding the guarantee. Update: Removed antenna and found the connection at the base was green from corrosion and the wire was coming out straight. Poor connection and stress reliever, never been in salt water. I ordered the second, installed it very carefully so as not to twist the cable (like the first), connected the Shakespearean…
