Looks solid and strong, a bit springy when you open it, but it's good. I have very thick hair and when I use traditional bobby pins they go too big and don't hold well so I decided to try this style. I think they're meant for specific hairstyles, but I plan to use them for all kinds of everyday wear, including buns. I also didn't know they come in their own clear plastic box so that was a bonus.

These hairpins were too short for my long hair. They weren't long enough to get under the messy bun and hold it in place. You will look better in a hairstyle with curls that need to be held in place.

Just want the unruly wig to stay in place. I found them too long and too heavy. I prefer the shorter and lighter hair clip. Also, I found the little mastic container that held all the bobby pins to be a nightmare to open. Beware.

I have been disappointed with other brands of hairpins I have purchased in the past as they tend to bend easily, rust and the ends fall off after a single use. I love these hair clips! I decided to braid and add some hair extensions. Sometimes I like to put my braids up because of the weight of the hair. I find that these bobby pins hold them in place and the ends don't snag, break, or mess up the cornrows. They are a bit more expensive compared to others but in the end you get what you pay…

I like that it comes with its own clip-on case. They were brand new, well packaged and matched my buns. I'd love to post an image, but for some reason there was no "add image" or "add video" in this review.

Great rivets! LOVED YOU. Sufficient size - perfect for my extension braids or dreadlocks. Strong, strong but with a soft tip and a very smooth coat. Just the right length and spacing. The case is a bit small but I just used something else to store them. Many Thanks.

Thought they were really huge bobby pins but they weren't exactly the size I was looking for. My friend has waist length hair that she wears in a bun for work and needs more of her huge and very industrial bobby pins. It's okay, but not exactly what she was looking for.

These rivets work well. I have to use them to style my hair at work (in the military) and they stay in place all day. They can be a little tricky to maneuver when you first use them, but will get easier as you get used to them. I wish they were a little smaller so they don't stick out at the other end of my bun. When they stick out, it's imperceptible, so they blend well with the hair. Overall good studs.

Bought for a cheerleading team to use in competitions. They work great and the plastic case they come with is great for separating the colors.
