I bought these to use on the side windows. The curtain rod fits perfectly. They are strong enough to withstand a thick, thick curtain. Great price and fast delivery!

It is not user friendly. Instead of a long internal spring that you can squeeze in different places, you have to twist one end to adjust the length to about 1/2 inch more than your seat and then squeeze like a Dickens to compress it. I will buy any other brand first next time.

Used for window curtains in French door. They're not tie rods, so you need to make sure they're safe in space. If not, the curtain falls. Once you've attached it, it stays in place nicely. There are no problems opening and closing the doors. Curtains stay on your windows as you wish.

I only installed it today but so far I like it. I used them in a very small space to store tp and napkins in my camper bathroom. I've hardly had to lengthen them, which I know makes them stronger. I have two poles that form a shelf for six stacked jumbo rolls. I plan to get more for other uses. I want them to come in an even number as I have an odd number left until I buy more.

Will not be kept in drawers. If you have drawers that you constantly open and close, everything you have in them will press against them and won't stay in place. Disappointing. I didn't buy any others because my drawers are shallow and I thought these would work perfectly, but they just don't stay in place for long. If you don't mind opening and closing the door, then everything is fine.

I used these to create two departments on a pantry shelf: chopping boards and coasters; paper bags; jars and boxes. Despite comments from others that they don't stay in place, I haven't found this to be the case. You have to keep the bar really still while turning the outside of it to get it as tight as possible, but I have heavy cutting boards and trivets that are leaning against a row of three bars and they won't budge. I will buy more when I do this. Changes in our pantry shelves.
