Large stones: mechanical and hand tools

Shapton glass stones are great. They are quick, easy to straighten and easy to clean. I can really tell the difference when sharpening modern super steels. They work well with old school carbon steel knives, but I usually use chosera stones for this. Shapton Pro Stones are good too, but for super steels these glass stones are the best.
