This is the perfect replacement part for the Shark Navigator. My old vacuum cleaner hose broke at the bottom after a few years of frequent use. However, this one connected without a single issue as some other reviewers noted that the color is slightly darker than purple. Item was of non-standard quality. The plastic seam on the handle has been spaced slightly to allow for less suction. The clip for attaching to the stick fell off as soon as I put it on the attachment. It won't stay. I had to steal my old part to get a working clip. I am very surprised that Shark released a low quality part. When I went to replace the roller bar that I had ordered a week earlier, one of the screws on the bottom of the vacuum broke, preventing me from removing the base to replace

It's not often that I can praise something BETTER than the original, but in this one case i did it honestly. The tube that connects the nozzle (nicely assembled, with no parts that have a "what if it will do something") is finned like most vacuum hoses BUT this one has thinner fins than the original (narrower baffles), which made me makes you think it actually adds more flexibility and therefore more tear resistance (like the original).
