I bought a special house. I hate my floors in the main rooms. roll vinyl textured. Don't sweep, don't wipe. Dirt only penetrates the texture. Terrible! This vacuum cleaner is the ONLY tool that works. Vacuum several times a week. OK - in one day. Pick up most of the dirt. Works well with rugs in bedrooms. Picks up cat hair with no problem. You must remove the fibers from the can when you empty it. And the brush needs to be picked from time to time. But at least my floors are clean!

Well I gave up and got this. Have the fork version and love it but wanted a cordless version for quick movements to get rid of excess dog hair etc.? The suction power is just terrible. The only way to actually pull dirt into the canister is to keep the brushroll moving, even on a hard floor. Otherwise, it will only accumulate along the wheels. Maneuverability on par with the wired version. Not that hard. I have no other complaints but gosh, vacuuming is the number one reason to buy a vacuum and

I was so happy to receive this Shark cordless vacuum! I am a housewife with 3 children under the age of 7 and 3 dogs (including a woolly mammoth golden retriever). We have dark laminate floors that show EVERYTHING and dogs/kids come and go with crumbs/hair/glitter/mess everywhere. I usually vacuum once a day. I've been using a Dyson cordless vacuum for 5 years but it recently broke and I decided to give the Shark a try! Here is my rating compared to my Dyson:PROS:1. It is very easy to assemble.
