I would give it 5 stars but when tested the compressed air pressed against the inner paper causing the needle to get stuck at 40 pounds.

The moment I pushed the gauge just 20 pounds it leaked. Not only the valve was leaking, but also the sensor housing. A pressure test is not possible with this pressure test set.

Tested and leaking before first use. Note the bubbles around the carving. Useless. It is also difficult to repair as the shark bite preferred to glue the threads rather than use teflon tape.

Oh my god! Exyreme has poor quality control. I bought three of these and spent more time checking for leaks in these sensor assemblies than the systems tested. So far I've got a good one out of three. Disassembled and reassembled using good plumbing techniques. Well it's a joke.

I had to test a long (400ft) 1-1/2" PVC pipe before burying it to make sure there were no leaks. Once I got the right fittings I sealed the line through a Schrader valve and let it sit overnight, it lost a few psi but I attribute that to a temperature change in the pipe (in hot sun then cool morning shade), buried the pipe and that helped .pressure that day.After a couple of weeks it was slowly losing most of the pressure (perhaps a small leak in this unit or in the "Oatey" end cap with the…

Where to start? Why is this listing named Sharkbite? It is manufactured by Cash Acme. The description says it should fit, but apparently it has threads. I knew that before I bought it. up to 200psi but as shown in the pictures it only goes up to 200psi. Not that you want to pump it up to 200psi anyway. When I first screwed this into a real shark fitting I could see the brass filings coming out of the connection as if it had been turned. It must be too far off specification to form a good seal…
