This model replaced an earlier model that wore out with very heavy use. The keypad and latch are sleeker and easier to use than on the earlier model. The glass turntable fits neatly in the dishwasher. The size and power are fine for small jobs. We have a bigger old microwave to handle the large dinner plates and casseroles, and food items that require higher power. Purchased 2 of these ovens. After less than 2 years of use, both ovens paint job on the inside cavity are severely chipping and peeling away. Both ovens are still functional but the bad paint job makes for an unsightly appearance. Also, 1 of the ovens magnetron went bad and intermittently arcs and sparks for no apparent reason. These ovens are very low build quality and will not recommend purchasing from Sharp.

Very pleased with this product. It arrived two days earlier than expected.Packaging was good and it arrived in excellent condition. This is my secondSharp Carousel microwave oven. The first one lasted well over 10 years. It isjust a bit smaller than my first one, but I knew that and am ok with it. It doesn'ttake up a lot of counter space. I don't do a lot of microwave cooking, mainlyjust warming food and beverages, making popcorn, etc. Also use the defrost feature.

This was a replacement for an ancient office microwave. It's got all of necessary features and fits nicely on a small break room cart. Perfect for a small space.

Not as small as some reviews make believe, it can fit a regular dinner plate. If you have a small kitchen and not much counter space this is perfect. Also simple and intuitive to use.

Wanted a small microwave to use in bedroom while my kitchen is torn up for remodel. This has been working great for me. Would definitely recommend.

We have a built in cupboard for our Microwave and it will only hold this small model. This isn't a microwave you would expect to last forever but it's the perfect size and does the job. And, it's economical when you don't/can't spend a lot of money. It's a great solution!

NICE! I’ve always loved Sharp products. I had a Sharp microwave for over 25 yrs (it still works). I thought it was time for me to get an update one

Love the small size, still fits a full-size dinner plate. Only downside is the power. Everything takes much longer to heat than in our recently deceased full-size Sharp.

Ordered one, received it damaged. Ordered a replacement and this one cam filled with water. Not trying for a third. Thanks for attention.

Studys has shown that representative fungi, viruses, and aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, including spore formers, can easily be killed in a conventional microwave.

It's nice and matches my apartment's appliances. I love the price and it heats food with no problems. I will definitely buy it again when I need a new one.

I’ve had this style of micro since 2002! Yes, should have been replaced just for the fact that you shouldn’t keep a microwave for that long without causing cancer. lol this was almost the same as the one I had. I don’t use mine to cook in just reheat or popcorn

The packing material was broken into about 10 pieces pieces; the box had been torn and a corner was missing, the door wouldn't close because two pieces were broken off the detached keypad - one piece was stuck to the tape of the crudely re-taped packing material. Hype House sent us an obviously broken and returned product.

Arrived with center piece that holds the glass plate in place. I should have sent it back but I needed to use it immediately.😥

The beep on this microwave is super loud. It beeps five excruciating times no matter what you do. Opening the door or pressing Stop doesn't work. I absolutely hate how loud this thing is! It's beyond ridiculous. This oven would be great for using on a manufacturing shop floor. Everyone would still be able to hear it over all of the machinery!
