WHICH TYPE?!?! It really works!

It seemed too good to be true, "Wait, but that's not all!" Glove included? Yes, I doubted this sharpener would bring our knives to life, but it works. Better than the steel bar that comes with cutlery sets. A word of caution: three separate sharpening notches is NOT ok. I think something is wrong in the production. You must be sure that you are sharpening the blade in the correct order of the notches. It would be easier or more intuitive to move left to right or right to left, but no. So read…

Excellent sharpener for the money

This is the second of these sharpeners that I have bought to have one in both houses. They work very well. The handles could be stronger. I wish they were made of more durable plastic. But the ability to sharpen knives is quite satisfactory. I sharpen my knives after each use. They are so sharp that you cannot see the blade if you look directly at the blade. All my knives easily cut tomatoes, bread and meat.

Very good - after correct instructions

The instructions that came with the product basically say 'use it'. Well I did, got really upset and almost got it back. Then I found a couple of good videos on YouTube that describe the correct use of such sharpeners. Once I got it right, it worked really well. About six *correct* strokes will sharpen even very dull blades. Do not worry. The glove is a nice touch as the item tends to move a bit. Use it on a dry surface.

Good buy at Knife Sharpeners

I'm tired of using a sharpening stone on all my knives so this is a nice touch. I already have Kevlar gloves but it was nice that they were included in the kit. If you have carbon steel knives like mine with a hardness of 60+, you'll be delighted. It definitely takes a lot of pressure and a few passes to restore factory sharpness but still works great, good buy. Also, the sharpening section of this device is detachable, so it seems to me that you can replace it. Nice little gesture.
